I love food, cooking, eating and socialising. So a blog that combines all of these elements seemed a natural evolution. In the spirit of an online Come Dine With Me experience, please enjoy my dinner party adventures.
The Come Dine with Me competition 2009 includes a group of five couples and we’re making it an annual event. Next year I think we’ll start earlier, so we have something to look forward to over the wet and cold winter.
As the weather starts getting cooler this year (not that I’m wishing summer away!) I’ll have a dinner party called Indian Indulgence. I need to think of a great themed dinner party idea for summer, a nice light summer menu. Perhaps I could ‘borrow’ a friend’s house who has a BBQ – putting a little charcoal one out my kitchen window onto the small patio seems like a good idea in theory but I’m not so sure the neighbors will appreciate the smell of charred meat directly into their open windows.
